I heard about number dots card after reading Glenn Doman's book How to Teach Your Baby Math . Essentially, these are cards with random dots (usually red) printed on them. You can use them like flash cards that train your kid to recognize the concept of a number in terms of its quantity (i.e. the dots) instead of its symbolic representation (i.e. the numeral system as we know).
